PICOSCALE products are based on laser interferometry for the contactless measurement of displacements and vibrations. At the beam splitter of an extremely compact Michelson interferometer, both arms recombine and interference takes place. The interference signal contains information on the displacement of the target surface with respect to the reference mirror.

The METIRIO® product portfolio is consistently modular. Core product is the METIRIO® Read-Head, which can be used on its own by OEM customers. If requested, the read head can be purchased with additional functions and housings, so that a wide range of customer requirements can be met.
